However, after my one year free trial, the remote start feature with the Smartphone will go away, unless I renew the U-Connect contract. As of now I have no plans to do so.
Jan 25, 2010 路 Once it is started, the lights and accessories are controlled by the alternator. The battery does nothing but start the Jeep. Now that it wont start at all, you probably either blew a fuse or two (check the fuse block next to the battery first) or the Jeep thinks its being stolen and refuses to start.

The 4G dongle is not compatible with Cherokee and they have no idea if and when it will be. So us Cherokee owners are screwed.

I have a 99 grand cherokee that would shut off at very inappropriate times my problem was in the electrical plugs under the hood on the passenger side rear firewall. Remove battery neg cable and coolant overflow tank and you will see the 3 plug terminals.
